What this is
The short version.
Most SEO engagements fail for an unglamorous reason: the site cannot be crawled properly, and no amount of writing fixes that. So the first month goes on the things nobody puts in a case study — redirect chains, duplicate canonicals, pages that render only after JavaScript runs, a sitemap listing URLs that 404. Until those are clean, content is being poured into a bucket with a hole in it.
Once the foundation holds, the work turns to intent. A keyword is not a target; the thing someone is trying to do when they type it is the target. We track positions in two bands — 1–10 and 11–20 — because those two behave differently. Page two is a content problem. Page one is a conversion problem.
You will see organic sessions, not just positions. A ranking that brings no traffic is a vanity metric, and we report against GA4 so the number in the deck is the number in your own analytics.
How it runs
Four steps,
in this order.
Audit
Crawl, index coverage, Core Web Vitals and the redirect map. You get the list whether or not you continue.
Fix
The technical work, done rather than recommended. Most of the first month lives here.
Earn
Content and on-page work against the intents worth winning.
Report
Monthly, against GA4 organic sessions and the two position bands.
Before you ask
Asked, answered.
How long before SEO shows results?
Technical fixes can move things within weeks. Content-led gains usually take three to six months to compound, and anyone promising page one in thirty days is either buying links or counting a term nobody searches. We report monthly from the start, so you see the direction well before the destination.
Do you guarantee a number one ranking?
No, and we would be wary of anyone who does. Nobody controls Google’s index. What we control is whether your site is technically sound, genuinely useful, and aimed at intents you can realistically win.
Can you do SEO alongside our paid campaigns?
That is usually the stronger setup. Paid search tells you within days which terms actually convert, and that evidence aims the SEO work at the intents worth earning rather than the ones that merely get traffic.
What happens to the work if we stop?
The technical fixes and the content stay on your site and keep working. That is the difference between SEO and advertising: you own the asset rather than renting the placement.
